Left Bank and Notre Dame

After a quick good-bye with the Lee family, Eric and Julie continued their adventure... off to Paris!

A brief ice cream stop in Montreal

We arrived in Paris

(see the Eiffel Tower to the upper-right?! ^_^)

After a short nap, we were out the door ready to enjoy Paris. We walked along the Left bank enjoying the sights.

Watched a line of tour buses parked next to the sign that says "do not park here"


Saw a sign that says do not hold hands, but of course we had to:


Then we had some ice-cream before getting in line for dinner on Ile St-Louis. Last time we had given up after an hour of waiting, so we thoroughly enjoyed dinner.

And for dessert, more ice-cream before a trip to the top of Notre Dame.

Great views...

Even the gargoyles enjoy it...

...but definitely a lot of stairs for two jet-lagged travelers (felt almost like 10-stories of stairs... wait it was about that high).

After the rigorous exercise, we had to get a midnight snack before we go back to bed, right?! ^_^
