Visiting A-gong and A-ma

Our visit to Taiwan was HOT!!!
Julie and William missed the full-moon celebration by a day because we forgot to account for the time change and also the flight was $200 cheaper leaving a day later ( now we know why... cuz you miss the celebration). William did considerably well on the flight... slept for 3 hrs, watched TV for 6 hrs, and ate for 2 hrs. The flight attendants all loved him. He got a few free cookies that way.
The day before we were leaving for Taiwan, William started to say Gong-Gong and Ma and that was a big hit when he arrived in Taiwan.

Since then, there seems to be an explosion of words. He is able to pick up a word every few days. He likes to mix his English and Chinese together. He would say "Big" then "shiao" while pointing to his big toe and little toe.

Here is William holding A-gong and A-ma's hands.

William had a great time feeding the bunnies but the mosquitoes also had a great time feeding on William.

William also is very into anything with wheels. He would request to have mommy sing "the wheels on the _____ (bus/car/truck/digger/train/plane...). Here is William cruising around A-gong and A-ma's place with his new "bike". He also loved his new car backpack.

William's new love

William loves a nice serving of ketchup with a small side of fries. He can go through a small package of ketchup by scooping it with just a few fries. This sure took us by surprise when we took William to In-N-out for the first time. Here is daddy and William both enjoying their favorite food.

William also found out that mommy and daddy have been holding out on him. Julie tries to make William a healthy peanut butter banana sandwich while making Eric a pb and j sandwich... our smart little toddler figured out that daddy's sandwich taste much better than his... now he only wants daddy's sandwich.
